Middle School Eco-Meet Competition
Held each May, the Eco-Meet is an environmental science competition for middle school students held at rotating locations around the CSRA.

Environmental Teacher of the Year Award
Each year, ESEC offers a $500 award to recognize educators of all grade levels and disciplines who promote critical thinking of environmental issues and stimulate environmental awareness in the CSRA.

Enviroscape
ESEC maintains an Enviroscape, a model watershed, that can be used in the classroom to demonstrate a variety of environmental concepts. Relevant topics include point and non-point source pollution, wetland functions and values, watersheds, and stormwater runoff.  Training is available for teachers who want to borrow the model at no cost by calling Ruth Mead at 706-796-7707.
