Optional Project: Interview an Environmental Professional
This project is optional, but may be used to determine a winner in the event of an overall tie and medals will be awarded to the team with the best project.
We would like you to discover how real-life environmental professionals accomplish big things for science every day. This is your opportunity to learn about environmental science! Topics may include but are not limited to water resources, conservation efforts, wildlife protection, forest ecology, renewable energy, green infrastructure, hydropower, microorganisms, etc. For this project, you and your Eco-Meet teammates will select a professional in the Southeastern United States to conduct an interview with and then create a presentation based on that interview. The environmental professional can be an expert in any subject pertaining to environmental science that effects the southeastern US and, more specifically the CSRA. Present your interview using your choice of media.
